Almost Easter!

Hello everyone,
Just thought I would give a little update on our little man.
Nothing too major to report, he has been doing pretty good, and keeping everyone, especially Lisa, very busy. He has very busy days between his physio, and trache mask and vent trials, and playing. He is up to 7.5 hours a day on his trache mask and 9 hours and 15 minutes on his home vent per day. This is SOOOOO amazing! He is showing us once again how incredibly strong and determined he is.
Lisa is now doing his afternoon physio as well, so they are very busy days for her too. She gets to cuddle him a lot more now, as he likes to be held while he is on the trache mask. He LOVES to watch tv now, especially the Madagascar movies. He is a pretty smiley boy, and likes to also smile at the tv too.
He has gone for two more walks outside on the really nice days, and he enjoys those quite a bit. It will be really nice when the weather stays good and he can get outside more often.
They are slowly working him into wearing clothes again, which he really hasn't done since last April, due to him being in CCU and getting fevers so often and so easily. But he is doing pretty well, and I will try to post some pictures soon. He even got a present from one of his nurses of some really spiffy new running shoes!
All in all he has been doing pretty well since my last update, they are also still trying to wean the morphine, but they are doing it extremely slowly and guided by Wyatt's mood and tolerance. A few days ago he started spiking fevers again, so they took cultures, and he grew pneumonia, so he is now on antibiotics for that, and he is starting to feel better. He was pretty miserable, and misbehaving quite a bit yesterday, desatting a lot, and pretty low, but today is a much better day, and he has not been pulling any monkey business.
Wyatt is blowing lots of kisses, and eating his hands a lot now, and has also had the chance to enjoy some delicious cheesecake again. Like I said, he has been a busy boy!
They are trying to get things prepared to hopefully go home sometime soon, he will be getting his totally modified stroller chair sometime in the next few days, and they can't wait to try that out!
Easter is just around the corner, and this will be Wyatt's second Easter, and second Easter at SickKids.. but we know that the Easter Bunny will visit him and all the other little ones there, and bring them something special. Maybe someone will bring him some more cheesecake!?
That is about all for now, sorry for the delay, but its been crazy!
