We went Camping!!! posted on 07/06/2008
So for the 4th of July we decided to go camping with my parents. We did have a really fun time and loved to be outside in the rain and cold!!!!! However I did not realize how much the alltitude difference was going to effect me. As soon as we got there I felt dizzy, lightheaded, and like I was going to faint. I knew what to do and realxed and drank a lot of water.
Lukily my parents were really really thinking of me, when they decided to buy a portable potty seat and set up a tent just for me to pee in. I wasn't afraid to drink as much water as I needed to since I knew I only had to walk 2 feet to pee!!! Thank you Mom and DAd. That also came in handy when I had to pee in the middle of the DARk night all by myself. The public outhouse was only 3 campsites away, but when you have a 2lb baby thinking your bladder is a trampoline...you cna't always walk 3 camp sites away.
We had a great time, fishing, and just hanging out it was a nice break from the norm. When we got back I read my "what to expect while your expecting" book only to find that it said after yoru 5th month you should not go above 7,000 feet elevation. well, I wasn't above 7000 feet...but just below it! OOPS! 1 and a half more weeks and I'm in the 3rd and last Triemster!

Zachary's name...... posted on 07/06/2008
So while we were driving to Payson, Nathan and I were thinking of changing (or adding to) Zachary's name. While visiting with our adorbale neighbors the other day we got to talking abotu why Nathan did not give Zach his name. Nathan just really wants Estes in the middle. But then we got to talking about adding Nathan too. So on our drive we talked about it and haven't come to any forsure answer yet....but Zachary's name could be....
Zachary Estes Nathan or Nathan likes Zachary Estes Nathaniel........
What do you think?

We registered!!! posted on 07/06/2008
Nathan, Gabby, and I actually went to Babies R Us and registered. I never realized how much stuff we really need. It's scary to think since we really can't afford all of it. Not that we need all of it....but it's definitley an eye opener!

1 more month til 3rd trimester posted on 06/25/2008
So I am 24 weeks now and little Zachary is doing great. At my ultrasound at 18 weeks he was measuring 2 weeks behind. They said more than likely he will catch up and they kept my due date the same. Last appointment they didn't say anything about him being small. Although I am okay with him being smaller than Gabby was. 8lbs 10 oz is about all my body can take. Zach is moving a lot and I have been able to feel him and see my tummy going crazy form the outside. Nathan has yet to feel him. Although he keeps trying. I think he's just like Gabby and nice and comfy when Daddy's around. My next appointment will be in 2 weeks. After that I go every 2 weeks for my appointments. I can't believe that it's all going so fast. in less than a month I will be in my last trimester!!!!
Gabby is doing great, she loves to "help" me. Although she makes more of a mess while helping me, she does make the job more fun. We just made Zucchini/pineapple bread and banana bread. She likes to measure and stir. I look forward to her naps, because I also try and nap with her. I figure I will try to get get sleep now while I can. Espeascially since i have a hard time sleeping at nigh because of crazy heartburn and Zach kicking me all night.
I hope you all enjoy this website and coem back soon as I add more fun pictures and update the rest of it.
Love you all`Amber
